What a treat it is to walk around these very friendly birds!
It's hard to think of them as of birds as they walk and act so much like humans! Most of the species mate for life (up to 30 years) and are very devoted to their "half"! (sad but not all people are like that!). It's fascinating how tender and caring their relations can be. Both of them male and female are involved in the nest building and the care of their chicks, a behavior hardly ever seen among other animals.
